Donnelly’s  Sunset Point

In 1923 the now home of Tom & Michelle  Donnelly  was built by the Rogers family who rented rooms and cabins and served meals to their guests  in the summer season for many years.  This was in the Rogers Family up until Tom & Michelle  purchased the property in May of 2011.  After  renovations to  three of the six cabins we  were ready to rent by July 1st 2011 of that season. In 2012 we sold our house here in Long Lake and moved into what was originally the lodge.  We do not rent any of these rooms in the lodge or serve meals as the place was closed for a long time and this would take a lot of renovating.  So over the next five years we renovated the remaining four cabins instead  and had a total of six cabins.  

In December of 2017 we purchased the adjacent property formally known as  Green Harbor and for a year  we did many renovations to  the house and two cabins and two rooms and opened in 2018  with  11 units total. Over the next 5 years we tore down 4 cabins and landscaped the property.

Tom & Michelle live on the property and are here to accommodate our guests and  make their vacation as pleasurable as possible.  We also have a full time Logging business so you may not see Tom much during the day  but he is here every night to start the nightly fires at the lean-to.
